Application

1. Install the manufacturer-compatible 148 mm backing plate and 180 mm pad, keeping the pad centred and secure.
2. Spread the compound at a low speed, then work the panel with controlled overlapping passes and suitable pressure.
3. Remove residue and inspect the finish under suitable light; keep the machine moving and do not change the balanced backing-plate specification without manufacturer approval.

Important

Use suitable PPE and monitor surface temperature. Do not substitute a generic 150 mm plate or 150 mm pad for the specified 148 mm / 180 mm combination without confirming compatibility; test the process on a small area first.
