Platinum Trim Ceramic Coating 2.0 is a ceramic coating for restoring and protecting plastic trim. The reformulated composition creates a stronger bond with the surface and restores faded plastics in one wipe-on, wipe-off step. It leaves an enhanced OEM-level satin finish rather than a greasy silicone shine.

Protection and suitable surfaces

The coating forms a 3H protective barrier with a manufacturer-stated durability of at least 2 years from one application. It helps protect against UV radiation, fading, discolouration, chemicals and contaminants, while the cured dry-touch surface repels dust and dirt. It is suitable for new and aged plastics, piano-black trim, interior and exterior trim, engine-bay plastics, textured bumpers and wheel-arch plastics.

Application

Clean the surface thoroughly and remove old dressings, silicone residues and other contaminants before application. Work on a dry, cool surface away from direct sunlight. Apply the coating evenly to a small section with a supplied microfibre applicator, then wipe off excess with a clean microfibre cloth. The wipe-on, wipe-off method allows the finish to be checked immediately; use less product on textured or intricate trim.

Kit contents

The kit contains a 30 ml bottle of Platinum Trim Ceramic Coating 2.0, foil packaging with instructions and four 75 mm microfibre applicators. Allow the treated surface to remain clean and dry while the coating cures. Avoid contact with glass, paintwork and tyres; remove accidental residue immediately.
