Carbon Collective Sateen Rubber & Tyre Protectant — 500 ml

Sateen is a water-based tyre and rubber protectant that creates a durable hydrophobic, anti-static layer. It repels water, oil and dirt, helps protect against UV exposure and cures dry to the touch, so it does not sling onto the wheels after application. The finish can be adjusted: one coat leaves a rich satin appearance, while two or three coats produce a glossier, longer-lasting wet-look finish.

Suitable surfaces

Use on tyres and rubber surfaces such as window rubbers, door seals, rubber hoses, mud flaps and other suitable rubber goods. Always apply to a clean, dry surface free from oil, silicone and previous dressing residue.

Application

1. Clean the surface thoroughly, preferably with Carbon Collective SHIFT, and let it dry completely.
2. Apply a small amount to a foam tyre applicator.
3. Spread evenly over the surface until the product begins to turn clear.
4. Allow the first coat to cure. Apply a second coat when more gloss and durability are required.
5. For a wet-look finish, apply up to three coats with 15 minutes between coats.

Preparation determines durability. Do not apply to wet, hot or contaminated surfaces. Remove any excess before it dries unevenly.
