About the product

SONAX PROFILINE Headlight Coating is a long-term Si-Carbon protective coating for plastic vehicle headlamps. SONAX states that it helps protect against UV-related fading, environmental exposure and washing, with durability of up to one year. The manufacturer says the 50 ml pack is sufficient for up to 20 applications.

How to use

If needed, polish the clean headlamp first. Apply a thin layer to a clean, dry headlamp with the specified polishing cloth, then wipe residue off immediately. One sachet is intended for two headlamps. Do not use on glass or hot surfaces. Allow at least four hours to harden and keep the vehicle dry during curing; do not wash it for one week.

Safety

The current Latvian SONAX SDS (version 2.01, revised 21 August 2025) classifies the liquid as flammable (H226), skin irritant (H315), capable of causing serious eye damage (H318) and harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects (H413). Follow the product label and SDS precautions.
