CARPRO DQUARTZ Go nano-diamond ceramic coating kit — 50 ml

DQUARTZ Go brings CARPRO’s functionalised nano-diamond coating technology into an easy-to-use DIY format. The reformulated product is smoother to apply while retaining the hardness-increasing, hydrophobic and protective characteristics of the DQUARTZ line. It is intended for automotive paint and suitable metal surfaces.

The coating can increase surface hardness by up to five points on the pencil scale, improve resistance to abrasion and help protect against UV radiation, chemicals, water and road contamination. It leaves a glossy, highly hydrophobic surface that is easier to maintain.

Application

1. Wash and fully decontaminate the vehicle. Polish defects if required, then degrease the paint with a suitable panel-preparation product.
2. Do not apply in direct sun or on a hot surface. Shake the bottle and wrap a 4-inch suede around the applicator block, or use a suitable microfibre applicator.
3. Apply one or two lines of product to the applicator and spread it in a criss-cross pattern over sections of approximately 50 × 50 cm.
4. At about 24 °C, wait approximately 3–5 minutes until the coating flashes and feels slightly tacky; allow more time in cooler conditions. Gently buff off with a clean coating towel without excessive pressure and remove all residue before moving on.
5. One layer is normally sufficient. If a second layer is desired, apply it after 1 hour. Replace suede applicators approximately every two panels and never reuse towels used to remove coating residue on paint.
6. Keep the vehicle protected from moisture and the elements for 48 hours while the coating cures.

Suitable surfaces

Automotive clear coat and other suitable painted surfaces, as well as suitable metal. Test an inconspicuous area first and do not use on a substrate unless its compatibility has been confirmed.

Safety

Work in a well-ventilated area and use skin and respiratory protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Keep away from children, heat and ignition sources, and follow the current safety documentation and local disposal requirements.
