CARPRO CQUARTZ Fabric 2.0 — textile coating

CQUARTZ Fabric 2.0 is a breathable nano-coating for convertible fabric tops, fabric seats and upholstery, headliners, carpets, floor mats and other automotive textiles. Nanoparticles bond to individual fibres without clogging the weave or changing the look, feel or comfort of the material. The super-hydrophobic barrier repels water and stains while resisting abrasion, UV fading, sweat, oils and alkaline or acidic detergents for up to 12 months.

Application

1. Clean the fabric completely from dirt, oils, dressings and cleaner residues. If a cleaner leaves by-products, remove them with steam or a damp cloth. Allow the surface to dry fully.
2. Shake well. Spray evenly across the surface, or spray lightly into a foam applicator and work a small section in overlapping circular motions.
3. On thick or plush fibres, work the product in with a gloved hand and apply a second very light coat. Do not over-apply.
4. Allow the treated material to air-dry for at least 3 hours without water contact; 24 hours is preferable before traffic or abrasion. Keep convertible windows open for a few hours after use.

Care and precautions

Do not dilute. Test an inconspicuous area first. Use sparingly in a ventilated area with suitable respiratory, skin and eye protection. Once dirty, wipe with a clean damp microfibre. Avoid wax- or silicone-containing shampoos because they can temporarily reduce the hydrophobic effect.
