CARPRO CQUARTZ SiC ceramic coating — 50 ml

CQUARTZ SiC is a silicon-carbide-enhanced ceramic coating designed to deliver durable paint protection with strong slickness, deep gloss and improved resistance to chemical attack. The official specification lists chemical resistance across pH 3–12 and better resistance to mineral water spots.

Application

Wash, decontaminate and polish the paintwork as required, then remove polishing oils with a suitable panel wipe. Do not shake the bottle. Wrap a suede cloth around the applicator block, apply a thin line and spread approximately a 60 × 60 cm section in a crosshatch pattern. Determine the wipe-off window on a test panel; depending on temperature, humidity and airflow, level the coating approximately 3–15 minutes after application, removing all residue and high spots.

For a second coat, follow the manufacturer interval of approximately 45–60 minutes or wait until the following day. Keep the coated surface dry for at least 3 hours, preferably 24 hours, and avoid detergents and chemicals for the first 5 days.

Safety

The container is pressurised. Open slowly while pointing it away from your face and wear gloves. Use eye and respiratory protection in a well-ventilated area. Do not apply in direct sun or on a hot surface, and dispose of used applicators and coating-removal towels as recommended.
