Cartec Wheel Cleaner Acid Free — acid-free wheel cleaner, 1 l

Cartec Wheel Cleaner Acid Free is a strong alkaline, acid-free cleaner for deep cleaning rims and tyres. It loosens stubborn black brake dust and road dirt; the viscous formula gives the product more time to work and high-pressure rinsing can often be used without brushing.

Application

Use it for thorough cleaning of steel and aluminium rims and tyres. Do not use it on diamond-cut alloy wheels; Cartec recommends Iron Wash for those sensitive surfaces.

How to use

1. Spray the rims and tyres with a pressure pump or sprayer.
2. Allow the product to work for 1–2 minutes, depending on the degree of soiling, then rinse the rims and tyres thoroughly with a high-pressure sprayer.
3. Check the result. If contamination remains, repeat the treatment and use a suitable brush on the tyres and rims.

Safety and compatibility

Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not apply in direct sunlight or to hot or warm rims. Do not allow the product to dry on stainless steel or aluminium. Specially treated aluminium may be sensitive to damage, so always test the product on an inconspicuous area first.
