About the product

3M Perfect-It Ultrafina SE Polish is a very fine finishing polish for removing swirls and holograms from refinish and original automotive paint. Use it after machine compounding and polishing to achieve a clean, high-gloss finish.

Application

Use the polish as the final machine-polishing stage on suitable automotive paintwork. Do not apply it directly after a coarse compound. For swirls or car-wash scratches on original paint, use 3M 09376 first as recommended by the manufacturer.

Instructions for use

1. Shake well before use.
2. Use an electric or pneumatic polisher at 1400–2000 rpm with 3M Ultrafina High Gloss Pad 50388 (150 mm) or 50389 (200 mm).
3. Work an area of approximately 0.5 m². Spread a thin film and make 3–4 passes, starting with medium pressure and finishing with light pressure.
4. The polish remains wet during work. Remove residue with an Ultrafina wipe or 3M 50400 cloth.
5. Keep a used pad in a plastic bag until it is cleaned. Use this product after the compounding and intermediate polishing steps.
