About the product

COLOURLOCK Leather Steering Wheel Set is intended for restoring a black leather steering wheel. The sequence combines cleaning and degreasing, masking and light preparation, thin Leather Fresh coats, Leather Shield and final leather preservation.

Confirmed specification

• Includes cleaner and foamer, degreaser, black Leather Fresh, Leather Shield, Elephant Leather Preserver, sanding pad, sponges and cloths.
• 100 ml and 15 ml component sizes are retained as supplied for the set.
• Leather Fresh is applied in several thin coats; the final preserver follows the curing step.

Application

1. Clean and degrease the wheel, protect controls and lightly sand only where required; perform a tape test.
2. Shake black Leather Fresh and dab on several thin coats, allowing each coat to dry.
3. Apply a thin Leather Shield coat; after about 24 hours apply Elephant Leather Preserver.

Important

Protect adjacent controls and test the complete process on an inconspicuous area before treating the steering wheel.
