About the product
The SONAX PROFILINE Orbital Polishing Pad medium is a high-density, medium-hard open-cell foam pad for machine polishing automotive paint with an orbital polisher. The pad itself is 140 mm across; SONAX identifies article 04986000 by its 125 mm backing-plate size. A central cooling area and bevelled edge support handling and ventilation. Hook-and-loop fastening allows quick pad changes. One pad is supplied.
Use and care
Centre the pad on a compatible 125 mm backing plate. Do not let the polishing area overheat, press hard or tilt the pad excessively. Regularly blow the pad out with compressed air during use and clean it regularly. Never use different polishes on the same pad.
Compatibility
For orbital polishing machines with a 125 mm backing plate. SONAX lists PROFILINE NP 03-06, EX 04-06 and Perfect Finish as suitable polishes.
