DHydrate BOLD is CARPRO’s microfiber towel for drying a vehicle after washing. The manufacturer specifies 1000 GSM, a 70 × 90 cm size and longer double-twisted loops that increase contact with the surface and help absorb water quickly. Its light-grey colour makes possible dirt particles easier to see, helping you avoid carrying them across the paintwork.

What makes the BOLD version different

Compared with the original DHydrate, BOLD is designed to be more absorbent and more efficient. CARPRO says its higher material density stores enough water to dry a whole SUV without repeatedly wringing out the towel. This is one towel measuring 70 × 90 cm; GSM describes fabric weight per area, not the towel’s total weight.

How to use

1. After washing, rinse the vehicle thoroughly so sand and other hard dirt are not left on the surface.
2. Lay the clean towel on a wet panel and draw it gently in straight, overlapping passes, allowing the microfiber to pick up the water.
3. Work panel by panel. When the used section becomes saturated or dirty, fold the towel to expose a clean section.
4. Do not scrub or drag the towel over unrinsed dirt. Use the light-grey colour to spot particles; if you see any, clean the towel before continuing.

Care

Use a clean towel and clean it after use according to the care label on the textile. The manufacturer’s product page does not specify a washing temperature or detergent, so follow the instructions printed on the towel rather than guessing.
