CARPRO Descale — Acidic Coating Rejuvenation Shampoo

CARPRO Descale was engineered specifically to solve the inevitable phenomenon of ceramic coating degradation: mineral choking. Over months of exposure to rain, sprinkler water, and winter road brine, inorganic calcium and magnesium minerals bake onto the ceramic surface, creating a microscopic chalky layer that prevents water from beading. CARPRO Descale uses specialized low-pH organic acids to chemically dissolve and strip these mineral bonds without harming the underlying quartz coating.

When to Use Descale

• When a ceramic coating shows signs of flatting, sluggish water sheeting, or dead spots caused by mineral choking.
• As a periodic spring maintenance wash after harsh, salty winter driving.
• For removing light fresh water spot contamination across paint and glass.

Dilution & Application Instructions

1. Bucket Wash Method: Dilute Descale 1:200 in your wash bucket (approx. 50–100 ml per 15L of water). Wash panel by panel with a microfiber wash mitt.
2. Foam Cannon Pre-Wash: Dilute 1:10 in a foam cannon. Apply foam, allow 3–5 minutes dwell time to dissolve minerals, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water. Notice how the water beading instantly springs back to life!
