CARPRO CQUARTZ BlackOut 2.0 — tire and rubber coating, 50 ml

BlackOut 2.0 is a durable protective coating for tire sidewalls, rubber and suitable resin materials. CARPRO describes a black satin finish with hydrophobic, self-cleaning, UV, salt, chemical and abrasion resistance. The formula uses polysiloxane technology and solvent-based acrylic resin. CARPRO’s exact 50 ml listing states durability up to 6 months; actual results depend on preparation, use and maintenance.

Kit contents

How to apply

1. Wash the tyres thoroughly with CARPRO ReTyre or MultiX and allow them to dry completely.
2. Shake BlackOut 2.0 well and pour a line onto the tyre applicator sponge.
3. Work an even coat over the tyre sidewall. Add product as needed. Wipe product from any area outside the tyre immediately.
4. Allow to dry for 1 hour at 25°C or 2 hours at 15°C. A second coat may be applied after drying.

Touch-dry time is 4 hours; full drying time is 12 hours. Avoid soaps and chemicals on the treated surface for the first 3 days.

Safety

DANGER. The CARPRO Global safety sheet (UFI VF10-X0E8-200E-90Y3) classifies the product H225, H304, H314, H317, H336 and H411: highly flammable; aspiration hazard if swallowed; causes severe skin burns and eye damage; may cause an allergic skin reaction or drowsiness; toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Do not breathe spray; use outdoors or with good ventilation and wear protective gloves, clothing and eye/face protection. If swallowed, rinse mouth and do not induce vomiting; immediately call a poison centre/doctor. If in eyes, rinse cautiously and immediately seek medical help.
