CARPRO CQUARTZ Skin PPF and vinyl coating kit — 50 ml

CQUARTZ Skin is a specialised nano-coating for paint protection film, vinyl wraps, clear bra material and compatible soft or hard plastic trim. Its nano-structure contains UVA and UVB resistant particles designed to reduce fading and UV damage. The coating adds water and dirt repellency, resistance to chemicals, salt and environmental contamination, and a rich, clean appearance.

The 50 ml kit contains one bottle of CQUARTZ Skin, a CARPRO foam applicator block, five 4-inch microfibre suede applicators and CQUARTZ identification stickers. Coverage is approximately 15 ml per coat, depending on the surface and application technique. Expected durability is 2 years or more when the surface is prepared correctly and maintained appropriately.

Application

1. Ensure the film, vinyl or plastic is completely clean, dry, decontaminated and free of oils. Inspect the material and test compatibility in an inconspicuous area.
2. Wrap a fresh suede applicator around the block and apply Skin in an even cross-hatch pattern. Work in controlled sections and keep the layer flat without high spots.
3. Allow approximately 2–3 minutes of flash time, adjusted for temperature and humidity, then level and buff the residue with a clean microfibre towel and suitable lighting.
4. For maximum performance, apply a second coat after approximately 4 hours, or immediately only when an appropriate IR curing process is used. Keep the vehicle away from the elements for 24 hours and avoid chemicals for at least 3–5 days.

Matte and satin surfaces

On matte or satin film and trim, do not use abrasive polishing to remove a cured coating because polishing can create gloss. Application on surfaces that cannot be polished requires correct lighting, training and a careful test area. Work in ventilation, use skin and eye protection and follow the current safety information.
