Blend Brothers SLICKY Clay Lubricant — 500 ml

SLICKY is a solvent-free clay lubricant designed to provide a smooth, controlled glide during paint decontamination. The generous slip helps the clay move over the surface with less friction, reducing the risk of marring and making the process more comfortable. It does not leave a greasy film and is suitable for preparing paint before polishing or applying protective products.

When to use

• during mechanical decontamination with detailing clay or a clay mitt;
• after washing, when bonded surface contamination remains;
• before polishing, coating or other paint-preparation work;
• after a suitable pre-wash has removed loose traffic film.

Application

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle thoroughly before claying. Remove tar or other specialised contamination first when required.
2. Work on a clean, cool panel and spray SLICKY generously over a small working area.
3. Glide the clay lightly in straight or overlapping passes without pressing hard. Add more lubricant whenever the surface begins to feel dry.
4. Wipe or rinse away residue and continue panel by panel. Inspect the paint before moving to polishing or protection.

Do not clay a dry surface. Keep the working area well lubricated and use a clean section of clay as soon as the current face becomes contaminated.
