Carbon Collective HEX Mini Cordless Polisher — Base Kit

The HEX Mini is a lightweight cordless machine polisher designed for correction in areas that are difficult to reach with a regular-size machine or by hand. Its quick-change system allows the operator to switch between rotary, dual-action and cone polishing attachments without tools.

Modes and adjustment

• rotary mode for the 1 in, 2 in and cone attachments;
• dual-action mode with 3 mm throw for 1 in, 2 in and 3 in backing plates;
• dual-action mode with 12 mm throw for 1 in and 3 in backing plates;
• four speed settings from 2000 to 5500 rpm;
• soft start and a brushless 300 W motor.

Application

Use the machine with a suitable pad, cone or compound for the correction stage. Choose the backing plate and throw according to the panel shape and the defect, keep the pad flat where possible and work a small test section first. Use the cone attachment for narrow areas around handles, grilles, spokes and intricate trim. Keep the machine moving, clean pads regularly and monitor panel temperature. Wear appropriate eye and respiratory protection when polishing.
