Carbon Collective Platinum Paint Ceramic Coating — 30 ml

Platinum Paint is a dedicated ceramic paint coating that forms a direct, permanent bond with the paint surface and becomes the active top layer. It provides hydrophobic, anti-static and self-cleaning properties while helping protect the finish from fallout, bird droppings, tar, chemicals, UV exposure and minor scratches. The coating enhances gloss as well as matt and satin finishes and makes the vehicle easier to maintain.

Protection and suitable finishes

The coating has true 7H hardness, high chemical resistance and a manufacturer-stated durability of at least 2 years. The official instructions describe around 2–3 years when maintained correctly. It is suitable for matt, satin, gloss, painted and powder-coated finishes, and the instructions also confirm use on gel coat, carbon fibre, bare metal, aluminium and stainless surfaces. It can be used as a base for Oracle Inorganic Ceramic Coating; when paired with Oracle, the manufacturer states up to 3 years of durability.

Kit contents and application

The kit contains a 30 ml bottle with the new 2.0 dropper, two 75 mm microfibre applicators and foil packaging with instructions.

1. Work above 5 °C in a well-ventilated area, wear protective gloves, avoid direct sunlight and do not dilute.
2. Prepare the surface carefully. Remove waxes, oils and dressings; a 30% isopropyl alcohol wipe is recommended.
3. Apply 2–3 drops to the supplied lint-free applicator and work panel by panel. Divide large panels into sections.
4. Bonding begins immediately. Remove excess with a light microfibre wipe within 1–2 minutes.
5. Use a separate applicator for each panel where possible. If applying a second coat, wait 2 hours.

Maintenance and safety

Maintain with pH-neutral car shampoo, snow foam and suitable citrus degreasers. Avoid acid wheel cleaners and high-pH cleaners. Remove accidental contact with glass, trim or tyres immediately. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, do not ingest and refit the cap tightly after use.
