Carbon Collective HEX Foam Polishing Pad — 5 in / 125 mm, Compound 1 Green

The green Compound 1 HEX foam pad is the heavy-cut option in the Carbon Collective foam polishing system. Its hex-pattern face helps retain compound and manage heat, while the slim foam construction improves machine-polishing action. Use it for oxidation removal, correction after wet sanding and rejuvenating older or heavily marked paint.

Application

Fit the pad to a compatible 125 mm backing plate and use with a suitable heavy-cut compound. Work a clean, cool panel in controlled overlapping passes, checking the correction regularly. Reduce pressure or change to a finer pad for the finishing stage. Clean the pad after use and let it dry before storage.

Always test the combination of pad, compound and machine on an inconspicuous area first.
