CARPRO MFX — microfiber and polishing-pad detergent

CARPRO MFX is a detergent for microfiber towels and polishing pads used in vehicle detailing. It is designed to remove oils, waxes, dirt and light stains. Residues from waxes, sealants, surfactants and rinse aids can build up in microfiber and reduce how well a drying towel absorbs water; MFX helps clean that buildup and restore the towel’s working absorbency.

Why use MFX

• For microfiber drying towels, buffing cloths and polishing pads.
• Helps remove oil, wax, dirt and light staining.
• Can be used in a washing machine or for soaking pads by hand.

Machine-wash microfiber towels

1. Measure 50 ml of MFX and pour it into the washing-machine detergent drawer.
2. Choose a gentle or synthetics programme at 40–60°C.

Check each textile’s care label and do not exceed its stated washing temperature.

Soak polishing pads

1. Dilute 50 ml of MFX in 10 litres of water (1:200).
2. Submerge the pads and leave them to soak for at least one hour.
3. Squeeze out excess solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4. For extra cleaning, brush the pad after soaking and before rinsing.

Use with a pad-cleaning bucket

Add 30 ml of MFX to the CARPRO Pad Cleaning System bucket, fill with water to the marked line, then follow the bucket system’s instructions.

Safety and care

The manufacturer-authored MFX Wash safety data sheet (Polish, revision 3.2, 11 April 2023) classifies the mixture H315 (causes skin irritation) and H318 (causes serious eye damage). Wear protective gloves/clothing and eye/face protection as directed. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes; remove contact lenses if easy, continue rinsing, and immediately contact a poison centre or doctor. Keep out of children’s reach.
